School Counseling Track, M.Ed., CACREP Accredited

The School Counseling track of the program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs (CACREP).

School Counseling Track Requirements

All students in the Counselor Education M.Ed. program must complete the 27 hours consisting of same 10 courses during their first two semesters. Once students enter their third semester, they may start the School Counseling track. Students in this track must complete an additional 33 course hours consisting of 27 core courses hours and 6 electives hour in their concentration. All classes are offered fully online with virtual synchronous and asynchronous components. The accrediting body (CACREP) requires students to come to campus at least two times during their time in the program.
